The armed police is responsible for guarding of all vital installations under the Police District & intervene in case of serious Law and Order problem. It is responsible for the up keeping of mental and physical fitness of the officers and force through its periodical training programmes. This branch is the custodian of all types Arms and Ammunitions of this Police District and is responsible for the serviceability of those.
